Welcome to the Tayside and Central Scotland Transport Partnership (tactran) website.

tactran is a statutory body, established under Transport (Scotland) Act 2005.  The Partnership includes Angus, Dundee City, Perth & Kinross and Stirling Council areas.

Its role is to bring together the local authorities and other key regional stakeholders, to take a strategic approach to transport in the region. The Partnership’s immediate priority is to create a Regional Transport Strategy, which sets out a Vision and Objectives for transport across the region for the next 10 – 15 years.  To find out more about the RTS, click here.

Tactran has continued their Sustainable Travel Grant Scheme given the success of the pilot scheme in 2008/09.  This year’s grant will again be open to Local Authorities, Health Board and Universities/Colleges.
